DropsA has plenty of experience with mobile lubrication. This case study shows a typical system for a walking excavator. This excavator is in Siberia, Russia so the lubrication system is in a very harsh and cold environment. Walking excavator is used in the open pit mining sector. Large quantity of earth is dug up and transported into the main production department where the raw material of Carbon is separated from soil.
Important Points of the System
The temperature reaches ‐50°C and some points and pumps are placed outside. Engineering phase is essential on this type of project considering the harsh environment.
This Case Application Was Implemented Using
Dropsa Lubrications systems provided Sandvik Materials Handling a specialized solution to allow the machines to be lubricated even at cold temperature and ensure no damage to the bearings.
